We returned to one of our favorite places, Friday Harbor on San Juan Island in Washington to hopefully see Orcas again. We went out on two tours with Maya's Legacy and had great sightings both trips. We then ventured to North Cascades National Park for our first visit there and had a great time hiking and exploring the park and the adjacent Mt. Baker Wilderness
We took the ferry from Anacortes to San Juan Island, landing in Friday Harbor. This was our third visit to San Juan Island and the third time out with the great captains and naturalists with Maya's Legacy Whale Watching. The orcas didn't disappoint!

North Cascades National Park is one of the least visited national parks, consisting mostly of wilderness areas. We hiked to some beautiful lakes there and in the Mt. Baker Wilderness.
