For our Alaska trip in 2025 we returned to the Silver Salmon Creek Lodge in Lake Clark National Park. We also spent time exploring the Kenai peninsula before and after our visit to Lake Clark
This year we were lucky to be able to spend time with and photograph a mom and two cubs at Silver Salmon. We also had some great interaction between other bears that kept us entertained and cameras clicking. The water conditions were better this year so we were able to take a ride up to photograph the puffins as well.

Our Kenai peninsula exploration included Homer and Seward and points in between. We were also able to take a boat tour around Resurrection and Aialik Bays where we saw glaciers, orcas and humpbacks.
